At first glance it doesn?t really make any sense does it? I mean, seriously, the uncaused, timeless, all-powerful God of the universe restricts Himself to meager humanity in the form of a helpless child. C?mon, get real! And yet, the birth, life and death of Jesus are historical facts so the real question becomes?WHY? The fact that God did this is historically settled. The reason for it is far more mind boggling. In this message we will explore ?The Purpose for Christmas.? By examining the angelic pronouncement to the shepherds we will discover the three reasons why we need the promise that Christmas brings.
